The options look great. My top three are Terra Cotta Soldier, Full Rust and Volcanic.

I could just see that volcanic armor making a great demonic knight. I'm picturing bright orangey-red vermillion accents that bring out the lava look.... straight from HELL!! Oh, and I'm picturing jet black glossy horns... sigh*

the dark jade I think would also make a great otherworldly demonic knight, but with neon green accents... and again... glossy black horns

You've convinced me. Dark base with bright neon accents work well. Like cracks of burning lava bursting at the seams/joints.

The faithful waits, the last few days,
For horsemen of four and a carriage of green,
To herald the end with the birth of a queen.

glad you guys agree!! I think it would look totally kickass AND I actually like the idea a lot more than going straight red with the armor=]

Beautiful. I like all of these options. I would love to see various knights with all of these effects at some point!

My top picks might be red polished wood, volcanic, rust, and turquoise. But I do love the stone look of the terra cotta as well. These options are all excellent.

Green patina or rust.

That red wood is nice as well..

I see this knight as neither good nor evil. He is just forever. Indescribable. The rust or patina lends to his age. Perhaps he lays dormant until the good and evil are out of balance. Or perhaps when nature or the innocent are endangered. And he will attack the good if their actions might harm an innocent even inadvertently. There we go.

No vote needed. I have spoken.

Oh man, I don't even know if I'll be able to make up my mind now. I thought seeing more pics would help me make my decision, but it just made things more difficult. They're all so cool looking.

Wow, ED, those are all amazing! They would all look great as finishes on one of these guys. Right now I'm leaning toward everything but the jades, terra cotta and ivory and that's only because I kinda feel those should be saved for if/when the line gets to Asian armors and only for that reason.

Again, beautiful work, man... Going to make choosing very difficult...
Whiskey for the men, beer for the horses... What are the centaurs having?...

with these paint samples im really hoping that the new kickstarted for 4H would be an extension to of Mythic Legion that touches on Japan Mythology and concepts (dragons, samurai warriors, etc.)

I spoke with the guys at the LBCC and they would love to do so.e of those Japanese concepts as well as some East Indian and other cultures. And I may be mistaken but there might be a monkey king sort of fig coming down the pike.

The guys are stoked over this line. Had a great talk about it.

that'd be amazing, the Monkey King has always been one of my favorite mythological figures and the idea of a Horsemen version is already making my mind race.
