The Thundercats Thread

Postby EDcomics » Mon Jul 13, 2015 5:31 pm

Hey guys. Since these figures were unveiled at SDCC, I figure the line at least deserves its own thread. Studio photos of Lion-O are up on the main site. Jackalman will follow soon. But yeah.... What do you guys think?

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

I dislike that this is another subscription. I will not do subscriptions. But if I can pick these up individually, even through BBTS then I'm in all the way

Great news!

This is two things I have wanted to see for a long time, Four Horsemen sculpted Thundercats which are compatible with MOTU. Now if they can get their hands on the Blackstar property...

For me, that was the reveal of the convention! I am all-in on subbing up for that line. As long as 4H are doing the sculpts and paint apps, I'm in this until the wheels fall off! :D

On the one hand, 4H Thundercats are something I've been wanting for a long time now. I think the guys will do a great job with them.

On the other hand, I got fed up with Matty and Digital River years ago, and it was enough for me to drop MOTUC and not look back. If these were being sold in stores, I'd probably be all in. Having to go through the channels we do to get them, including possibly missing out if I don't subscribe or can't be at my computer at a certain time? I'm too old for games like that. If they want my money, it needs to be easier for me to give it to them.

This has been my dream for years. Wasn't huge into MOTUC, but I do remember watching lots of TC. I'm in on the sub. I'm definitely in. This was THE news of SDCC 2015 for me.

Don't forget the Tigersharks, either. Throw in some Street Sharks and Swat Cats love while you're at it. :D

Just remember, when it's cast in PVC, the face will slim down a bit. Didn't we just go over this in MOTUC? The PVC shrinks slightly.

The face size is not the problem, its the eyes and eyebrows.
