Ok so Hasbro just hit a Grand Slam with Sauron and it'll go perfect with Mythic Legions. Quick pics

All you talented painters out there who like a challenge well I stumbled on a site that makes really cool resin statues that Mythic Legion fans might be into. I'd love to have the Maw(the Death Worm)

So those arms can plug right into a Mythic Legions torso with no alteration? Or did you do something else to them to get them to fit?

What I really want from this wave is that purple hat (to turn it into a sombrero) and the Sauron head so I can graft it onto a the same movie Lizard figure I used to make a saurian warrior.

Yes that's the same reason I bought some extras of the Sauron torso to turn into a few Saurians later on.Head comes off easy but I chickened out when it came to the neck piece.I didn't want to break it and cry.

Hmmmm with Lizard head being a perfect Dinosaur head, the Sauron being another good fit for a Pterydactyl head, all I need is maybe one more for a nice race of Saurians. There must be a good Tricerotops style head out there.I was looking at those Mattel Jurassic World build Skeletons the other day thinking that head might work but it's a skeleton.

The pimp hat is funny.

Can you do a color comparison to the kind of movie lizard figure I used (if you have one handy)? Both torsos are similar and both have neck attachments.

That's cool that those arm's fit into a Mythic Legions torso. If you repaint them White they would make awesome Vampire arm's.

Iz,I actually don't have one of those Lizards but I do have the other less articulated version that I like a lot better in terms of looks. The only thing I have to do is figure out how to mod the head to fit perfectly onto the body which will take some cutting and sanding I'm sure.

Here's a pic comparing the colors of those two.

Great idea but I can't customize like that unfortunately.

Hasbro really needs to branch out to a D&D line and make use of these pieces. So much potential.

Looks like Sauron and movie Lizard share the exact same torso. The sculpt looks identical to me.

Dang you! I have not been able to find Sauron in the store yet, I might have to mail order it. I had a similar idea, but I plan on modiing one of the Mythic legion birds using the arms/wings and maybe even the legs depending on how they fit.

Overall you are right, one of the best waves from Hasbro this year! envy!

The Sauron wave is just hitting now so give it a few weeks before you see it at stores.

Here's a really cool creature but unfortunately it's a bit small and very expensive for the size. $35

Got half my Sauron today (torso and wings), and the wings on him are excellent! The fact they're Mythic Legions compatible just makes them better ( or worse, depending on your wallet's perspective  ). These could easily be used as wyvern or draconian wings, as well as the previously mentioned vampire wings.
