Four Horsemen Studios’ “2024 Retailer Appreciation Wave” goes up for preorder stating on March 1, 2024. Only available from the studios’ worldwide network of retailer partners, this wave features new versions of the company’s three Figura Obscura releases from 2023, plus brand new Mythic Legions and Cosmic Legions characters. Here are more details:
Figura Obscura: Sun Wukong the Monkey King, “Golden Sage” edition – this figure which appeared on a number of “Best of 2023” lists comes in a new paint deco with golden fur and armor. He includes all the items available in the first release, including the premium packaging with character-specific artwork. This figure is $69.99.
The “Black Robes” Figure Obscura: Masque of the Red Death, from the Edgar Allan Poe short story of the same name, comes in a new edition with black robes replacing the previous red ones and a color palette on the zombie-like body that is inverted from the first release. He includes all the items available in the first release, including the large diorama-style clock and premium packaging with character-specific artwork. This figure is $69.99.
The spectral Figura Obscura: Ghost of Jacob Marley, “Haunted Blue” edition returns to haunt collections once again! Available in new color scheme with glow-in-the-dark features, he includes all the items available in the first release, including the surprise “iron mask” head and premium packaging with character-specific artwork. This figure is $69.99.
As for Mythic Legions, the “Undead of Vikenfell” will be available for $49.99 as part of this wave. Featuring 3 skeleton heads, one of which is brand new with this figure, the Undead of Vikenfell also includes extra hands, weapons, and a fur cloak so you can build out your undead army!
Rounding out this special wave is a new figure from Cosmic Legions – “The Shadow Circle.” This deluxe builder character introduces a mysterious new group of adventurers to our story, with also giving figure fans a ton of display options with 2 sets of upper arms and legs, 4 heads, extra hands, and so much more in these set! The Shadow Circle will be $59.99 in this preorder.
