The third “Mythic Legions: Legacies of Mythoss” wave was recently revealed and is slated to be available as in stock items at StoreHorsemen.com starting on 9/18/26 at 11am EDT.
A subline of Mythic Legions, Legacies of Mythoss features updated versions of core characters from the Realm of Mythoss presented in their iconic, original looks along with new parts and pieces to modify those looks!
The third wave of this sub-line includes the skeleton executioner - Malleus, the dwarven fighter – Thord Ironjaw, and the brutal ogre fighter named Kkurzog!
Known as the “ear of Necronominus”, Malleus was the first of the “children” of the God of Death to be introduced in the Mythic Legions line – all the way back during the Kickstarter for the first series of these figures! While that original figure was also released as an “All Stars” reissue, this new Legacies version is brand new and ready to cause havoc in the Realm of Mythoss!
The Legacies of Mythoss MALLEUS figure stands approx. 7” tall and includes 33 points of articulation. He comes with 2 heads (plain skull and “battle helm” head – both of which are newly sculpted), 2 new twin axes, 3 sets of hands, removable shoulder armor, and a premium wired soft goods skirt, loin, and cowl (he also has an additional plastic loin piece).
Thord Ironjaw was one of the first figures to be introduced in the Mythic Legions line – all the way back during the Kickstarter for the first series of these figures! Despite being an important character in our story, Thord has never been reissued in the line! This new Legacies release gets Thord back into the line in a very cool new way!
The Legacies of Mythoss THORD figure stands approx. 6” tall and includes 30 points of articulation. He comes with 2 heads (helmeted and unhelmeted – both of which are newly sculpted), a new axe, new sword (with scabbard), and new shield, a mug of dwarven ale, turkey leg, S-hook, belt, 2 sets of hands, and removable shoulder armor.
One of the first ogre-scale figures released in the line, Kkurzog was also the first life-size Legions figure we made for display! We always get asked about this character when we bring that 10-foot ogre to shows, but he has been sold out for years. We knew it was time to correct that with a new Legacies of Mythoss release!
Kkurzog features a brand-new ogre body, including butterfly shoulders, bicep swivels, mid-waist cut, and double-jointed knees. He stands approx. 9” tall and comes with 2 heads (1 of which is brand new here), a new helmet, sword, and shield weapons, 2 different removable chest armor options (the original style plus new chest armor), removable shoulder armor, and 3 sets of hands.
These figures will be offered first as an “in stock” items. This in-stock edition will drop at StoreHorsemen on Friday (9/18) at 11am EDT. Malleus and Thord will be part of a set for $110 for the pair while Kkurzog will be $75. These items are all limited to what we have on-hand and they will be restricted to 2-of-each-character/per-person in this sale drop.
Like we did for our first Legacies of Mythoss wave (Otho and Urzokk), we will follow up this limited in-stock drop with an open preorder with NO limits. That preorder will begin on Monday, 9/21 at 11am EDT. In that sale, Thord and Malleus will be offered individualy alongside Kkurzog and fans will be able to order as many figures as you’d like. This second run of Legacies 3 figure is expected to ship in mid-2027. With this split-sale approach, our goal is to get these new figures in fans’ hands NOW, while also having a separate preorder window for those who want more or who miss the first drop!
