Have you wanted to dig deeper into the story of Mythic Legions and go beyond the bios on the figure packages? Then we’ve got good news for you - “Mythic Legions: Rise of the Dark Four, Volume 1” is available to preorder NOW at StoreHorsemen!
This deluxe, hardcover book measures approx. 9.9” wide by 12.75” tall (similar to our already released “The First 10 Years” book) and it contains over 400-pages with story and images. This book is NOT a focus on the toys the way that our previous book was - this is a full novel of the story of Mythic Legions combined with wonderful paintings from Nate Baertsch and Tom Tolman, illustrations by David Williams, and photography from Trevor Williams. Many of the images in this book are from the packaging and promotions we’ve created for Mythic Legions over the last decade, but “Rise of the Dark Four, Volume 1” also contains nearly 50 brand-new images created specifically for this release.
We currently have 2 versions of the book available. The “standard” version is $50 and it is as described above - 400+ pages of story and images, hardcover edition, premium pages, etc. It is a stunning volume by any measure! You can see the incredible new cover art that Nate Baertsch did for this version as the first image in this post!
We also have “deluxe” edition that is available exclusively from StoreHorsemen. That version features a faux-leather cover designed to present as an “in-world” volume from Mythoss! It also has gold cover accents and page ends, an integrated fabric bookmark, and 24-additional pages of text and images with the inclusion of the “Red Star of Khubyraa” short story added as a bonus! The deluxe edition is $75.
